The timing system is the most safety-critical mechanism in the engine. It synchronises the crankshaft and camshaft with zero tolerance for error. When a timing system fails – whether due to a worn belt, a stretched chain, a seized tensioner, or a failed VVT component – the result is engine damage. It does not warn. It does not wait.

Replacing only the worn element in a timing system – the belt without the tensioner, the chain without the guides, the pump without the belt – is one of the most common causes of premature timing system failure after service.     Timing belt material grades, chain link geometry, tensioner hydraulic performance, roller bearing tolerances — every component in every HEPU® kit meets the specification of the original equipment supplier.   • OEM-supplier component sourcing.
    The rollers, tensioners, and accessory components included in HEPU® timing kits are sourced from verified OEM-level suppliers — manufacturers who supply the same components to vehicle assembly lines. The quality standard in the aftermarket kit is the same as in the original vehicle.
  • Needle bearing water pumps in timing belt kits with water pump.
    In timing belt kit with water pump configurations, HEPU® pumps feature needle bearings on the drive side. Under the cyclic loads of timing belt operation and start-stop systems, needle bearings distribute radial and axial forces across a larger contact surface — delivering service life of up to 100,000–120,000 km versus 20,000–40,000 km for standard ball-bearing designs.
  • Extended kits for VVT-equipped engines.
